James had a radical encounter with Jesus at age 19, and received a call from God for ministry. He has fully devoted his life to pursuing Jesus and to see the glory of God revealed in the nations of the world. He has ministered as a missionary and evangelist to multiple nations such as the United States, Brazil, Honduras, Poland, and the Dominican Republic.
James is living to empower a generation to win the world to Christ through 1 on 1 evangelism as well as gospel crusades and revivals. He is also used to equip the body of Christ through teaching revelation knowledge of the Word of God, intimacy with the Holy Spirit, and the supernatural power of God. His ministry has been marked by the fire of the Holy Spirit, miracles, and an intense desire for intimacy with Jesus.
James lives in Saint Johns, Florida, with his wife Tina, and their amazing daughter, Eden. James and Tina met in Bible college in 2004, and got married in 2007. Eden was born in 2011. Their entire family is involved and devoted to loving Jesus and preaching his gospel wherever He leads.
They believe that one of the greatest signs and wonders in our generation will be families that truly walk together in the glory of God together. The Starr’s don’t just want to see good families raised up in the earth; they want to see glory families raised up! They are burning to see the outpouring and manifestation of the Holy Spirit fill homes all over the world. In the Bible, the Holy Spirit prophesied to Abraham that through him all the families of the earth would be blessed (Genesis 12:3).
James and Tina were ordained into the ministry while on a mission trip to Brazil, in July 2019. They are ordained by Doug & Katia Rowland, of Alive2Love International Missions Organization.
